| Ubiteam - The winners of STC6! | 08 February 2010, 21:48 |
After getting through a rough route to the final, we finally have a winner standing here. The winning team, Ubiteam, surprised everyone with stunning teamdisplay and some epic solo-action provided by tOto. They beat inf-TOX 14-4 in a final that marks Ubi's first big achievement as a team.
Congrats to Ubiteam and tough luck inf-TOX!

After showing lack of respect towards his opponent, we admins have decided to give this player a one match-ban as a result of his behaviour. This is the first time a player's behaviour requires crucial actions, however we believe it is important to show that we do not want such players in our tournaments.
By flaming your opponents with a bad language doesnt get you anywhere, and it is a disgrace for your team and puts you in a bad spotlight. This ban should be a reminder for every player that we do not tolerate racism, flaming or any other badmouth actions in our tournaments. If the same player does something like this again, it might affect his team's participation in the tournament.
We will not reveal who this player who got banned for one match is, as we do not want it to get worse than it already is.

We are on a break now 'til the 11th january, when we return with the 2nd playoff-round. The mappack will be released on 3rd january.

Deadline is on Saturday 19th
Remember, if a player played in a team that didn't make it through to the playoffs, that player is not allowed to play in the playoffs with a new team.

The groups for the group stage of the STC6 have been created. You can now see the groups and matches under "Divisions", and your matches are displayed in the order they will be played on your team's page. There you will also find links to the match pages (comments page), where you can contact your opponents to organize the match, which you should probably start doing ;)

but don't worry people, you can still sign up to the waiting list, and by doing so you have great chances of getting in since there's always a lot of ghosts signing up.

Also, if we get enough teams signed up in the waiting list, we will expand the tournament so each group got 5 teams (this means 1 week will have to have 2 matches, but it will be on the same maps).
