The first edition of the Monster & Madness Cup has come to an end. After 3 rounds of great driving and even more fun, the best 11 teams gathered in the Monster Final for a clash of the titans!
In 2 hectical maps, with a mixture of amazing and bumby driving, the [PoD]-team, turned out to be the strongest, leaving the rest far behind, in a close battle for 2nd place.
The final results of the Monster Final:
1. [PoD] - 23 pts
2. CMC - 36 pts
3. em0 - 38 pts
4. #RC# - 39 pts
5. CAT - 40 pts
6. -pod- - 42 pts
7. cC - 46 pts
8. ViP - 50 pts

The remaining fighters battled eachother in the Mini Final.

Dear Monsters !
You should have received an email to confirm or not your participation to this cup. Check with your captain and if he didnt receive anything, confirm it replying to this post ! by YES or NO (and your team name)
The cup starts at 19h30 French time or cet (18h30 gmt)
Please connect to IRC at 19h00 and wait for the SERVERS & PASSWORDS
Concept :
- 3 rounds of 2 maps + 1 final of 2 maps
- 4 Divisions of 8 teams (16 players)
- 10 laps / map
- You discover the map when you join the server / 2 warmup laps
- You must use one of the Monster models from the M&M cup website
Round 1
Random divisions
You all play 2 maps of 10 laps each
Admins calculate the ranks after this round and go back to IRC to announce round 2
Round 2
All 1st and 2nd ranked teams of all divisions are invited to play round 2 in D1
All 3rd and 4th ranked teams of all divisions are invited to play round 2 in D2
5th & 6th in D3
7th & 8th in D4
Admins calculate the ranks after this round and go back to IRC to announce next round
Round 3
2 lowest from D1 go to D2
2 best from D2 jump to D1 and 2 lowest from D2 go to D3
2 best from D3 jump to D2 and 2 lowest from D3 go to D4
2 best from D4 jump to D3
Admins calculate the ranks after this round and go back to IRC to announce the finals
Final
D1 players are in the Monster Final
D2 players are in the Giant Final
D3 players are in the Mini Final
D4 players are in the Tiny Final
This system and the calculation might change according to the final number of teams who confirm their participation

Hello all,
We saw this coming a few weeks ago on the FET, when we started getting reports that some drivers were able to race without being seen by others on the server, and without appearing on the replays. We hoped this would remain limited to that competition before the UL1 start, for which we would have a rule in place to prevent this. But since yesterday, the trick was used in a 3 vs 3 game, we need to update the rules from all the running competitions.
Therefore, from now on and for all the ET Competitions, it will not be allowed anymore to put the Upload Setting to 0 in the launcher of the game, preventing you from appearing on the replays and to the eyes of others drivers during the race.
Because not appearing on replays = open door to cutters and cheaters
Because not being seen by others = unfair since it’s a Racing game, not a TA contest
A team using the 0 UL setting on the 3 vs 3 competitions will be losing the game by forfeit the first time. On the second offense, they will be banned from the league.
Identically, a team using the 0 UL setting for the FET will not score points for the first Round, and will be excluded on the second offense.
Reporting: If you see your opponents using the UL 0 setting, just take a screenshot where they appear in the finish score table, and a replay of the round, where you can see them standing still at the start. Send it to an admin on IRC or by email.
