Since it's the summer, i prefer not to put any deadline. Just try to play this game as soon as possible (translation: not later than the UL2 start). :p

| LE8 Cup on TMU starts now | 11 April 2007, 12:14 |
Hi folks,
The LE8 Cup is now officially started. The playoff tree is available and you can start planning your games. For the next 3 months or so, the LE8 Cup will be played on TMU with all the teams who participated to the LE8 League. This competition is purely optional. You can decide to forfeit it by saying so in the game comments.
On round will be played every 2-3 weeks. As usual, teams are free to organize their game the way they want it. But if a game if not played after the deadline, we might decide to forfeit one or both teams in order to speed un the competition.
Organisation:
- Team with lover division/final standing can pick one LE8 map in the first environment (but not the Golden map of the round)
- Team with higher division/final standing can pick one LE8 map in one of the two remaining environment (but not the Golden map of the round)
- If the score is 1-1 after the first two map, a Golden map will be played in the last environment
Golden map
For the Playoffs Round 1, the three Golden maps will be:
- Snow: Reggae (Kaeto)
- Speed: Sexy Center (Babar)
- Rally: Cross Castle (OM Francky)
You have until April 25 to play your Round 1 game

Hello all,
We saw this coming a few weeks ago on the FET, when we started getting reports that some drivers were able to race without being seen by others on the server, and without appearing on the replays. We hoped this would remain limited to that competition before the UL1 start, for which we would have a rule in place to prevent this. But since yesterday, the trick was used in a 3 vs 3 game, we need to update the rules from all the running competitions.
Therefore, from now on and for all the ET Competitions, it will not be allowed anymore to put the Upload Setting to 0 in the launcher of the game, preventing you from appearing on the replays and to the eyes of others drivers during the race.
Because not appearing on replays = open door to cutters and cheaters
Because not being seen by others = unfair since it’s a Racing game, not a TA contest
A team using the 0 UL setting on the 3 vs 3 competitions will be losing the game by forfeit the first time. On the second offense, they will be banned from the league.
Identically, a team using the 0 UL setting for the FET will not score points for the first Round, and will be excluded on the second offense.
Reporting: If you see your opponents using the UL 0 setting, just take a screenshot where they appear in the finish score table, and a replay of the round, where you can see them standing still at the start. Send it to an admin on IRC or by email.
