Mail to Insomnia (Head Admin) for technical information about ET (league/ladder sites, bugs, etc ...)

| Playoff Tree & Schedule | 09 December 2007, 6:12 |
Hello, folks!
The playoff tree has been created! It's a 7 rounds playoff with 64 matches in the first round. "Bye" means that you have no opponent in this match. You win it by default (of course such a match does not bring you any ELO points for the ladder).
The schedule will be the following:
Round 1: 15:00h-16:00h CET
Round 2: 16:00h-17:00h CET
Round 3: 17:00h-17:45h CET
Round 4: 17:45h-18:30h CET
Big Break: 18:30h-19:30h CET
(the break is to take a breath and to finish matches which have been delayed for some reason)
Quarter Finals: 19:30h-20:15h CET
Semi Finals: 20:15h-21:00h CET
Optional Small Break: 21:00h-21:30h CET
(this break is to finish semi finals, finalists can decide to shorten or leave out the break)
Finals: 21:00h or 21:30h CET
If you need help to host a server for your match, you should read the tutorial on ET forums: http://www.et-generation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4211
If both players in a match cannot host a server, ask on our IRC channel for help. Some players might have a "Bye" and time to host a match, and ET has some emergency servers aswell.
If you and your next opponent both finished your previous matches, it cannot hurt to play your next match then already, before the schedule, so we can avoid delays.
We wish all of you a lot of fun, enjoy the day, and collect points. About the points: A "Bye" match does not bring any ladder points. A win in the cup brings 13 ladder points. If you win the first round and lose in the 2nd, you will not lose those 13 points again though. No minus points for a loss.
For first round: If your opponent does not appear until 15:20h, you'll automatically proceed to Round 2. Consider, that in 1st round, many registered players will not appear.

If you want the ELO points of your played cup matches counting for the ET 1on1 Ladder, do not forget to register on the ladder site: http://roundsladder.et-leagues.com/.
We're also advising you to register to the ET Replay Ladder, in order to train the cup maps properly, and share your best replays with the community:
