Overall Standings : Here are the final standingsn, and the names of the 64 drivers who will qualify directly to the playoffs. You needed more than 2100 points this season to get through, and only 11 of the 64 qualified played less than 4 tournaments. Furthermore, 163 drivers scored points in the GC8, which is another record for this competition. GG to you all.
As usual, it will still be possible to register for the playoffs, and if one of the qualified drivers decided to drop out, drivers will be included in the list of players participating to the playoffs next Wednesday in the afternoon. Use the topic GC8 Waiting List and GC8 Tournament pullbacks to signal us if you would like to be included in the playoffs or if you decide to drop out (in case your name is on the list of 64 qualified drivers.

IMPORTANT :
The admin present on the server will usually wait for all the drivers to have joined, and if you are disconnected during the warm up laps, he will wait until you get back to launch the runs. Once the runs are launched, there is no way the runs will stop in order to allow you to rejoin. The admin will try to kick you out if you can’t come back on the server, but it might take a few runs, especially if he is playing and did not notice you were out.
As said several times over the last few days, you needed to register using your TMUF login. If you failed to do so, the admin checking if you can drive is likely to kick you out of the tournament. Only valid and checked logins will be allowed to race.
This being said, i hope we won’t have many problems tonight and that everyone is going to have fun playing.
See you at 20PM on the servers

Another huge evening considering that almost half of the registered drivers have an average points / tournament above 750 points, which means that servers are likely to be highly competitive tonight. Good luck to you all.

Overall Standings : Pranksta’s lead was short lived, since Marius89 jumped right in front to get in the first place. But with 4274 points in only 3 tournaments, Maruk will likely be the competition leader by the end of the qualifying tournaments. With 1496 points score in his first tournament, Lolomax made a noticeable entrance, and is already close to the qualifying spot.
At the end of the GC7 T7, the qualifying spot was set at 1274 points, which equals to the 83rd spots this season. So even though the number of participating drivers has stayed more or less the same, the number of tournaments played has indeed increased. We might end up with a qualifying spot at the end of T9 above 2000 points.

Hey folks,
The servers will be located in Others Countries. Here are the 3 servers and the names of the logins’ drivers who are expected on the server by 20h30 CET.
It seems like all the big boys decided to be around tonight. With Lolomax finally finding its way to the GC8 site, the three servers will also feature Zooz, Maruk, 20-100, Gued, Figos and Marius89 (and Mazzy uhuh ^^)

IMPORTANT :
The admin present on the server will usually wait for all the drivers to have joined, and if you are disconnected during the warm up laps, he will wait until you get back to launch the runs. Once the runs are launched, there is no way the runs will stop in order to allow you to rejoin. The admin will try to kick you out if you can’t come back on the server, but it might take a few runs, especially if he is playing and did not notice you were out.
As said several times over the last few days, you needed to register using your TMUF login. If you failed to do so, the admin checking if you can drive is likely to kick you out of the tournament. Only valid and checked logins will be allowed to race.
This being said, i hope we won’t have many problems tonight and that everyone is going to have fun playing.

Hey folks,
For once, I was able to do this repartition with some advance, so there you go. The servers will be located in Others Countries. Here are the 3 servers and the names of the logins’ drivers who are expected on the server by 20h30 CET.

IMPORTANT :
The admin present on the server will usually wait for all the drivers to have joined, and if you are disconnected during the warm up laps, he will wait until you get back to launch the runs. Once the runs are launched, there is no way the runs will stop in order to allow you to rejoin. The admin will try to kick you out if you can’t come back on the server, but it might take a few runs, especially if he is playing and did not notice you were out.
As said several times over the last few days, you needed to register using your TMUF login. If you failed to do so, the admin checking if you can drive is likely to kick you out of the tournament. Only valid and checked logins will be allowed to race.
This being said, i hope we won’t have many problems tonight and that everyone is going to have fun playing.

Hello lads
Here are the standings after tournament 4. Maruk was the only one this week with a perfect, and the top of the standings is occupier by Stefanh (Blackcat), who will stay there for a few weeks considering he already player his 4 qualifying tournaments, and with more than 4.500 points, he has a nice margin on the second.

Hello guys
Here are the standings after tournament 2.
The world cup is over, and the number of participants in the second tournament was much higher than during Round 1. With 75 drivers playing on 85 registered, it was probably the highest number of participants in a weekly tournament since the new format of the GC TMU was launched a few years ago. We also had two perfect scores, by Blackcat and by Roa on rally. No less than 12 drivers scored more than 1.000 points.

IMPORTANT :
The admin present on the server will usually wait for all the drivers to have joined, and if you are disconnected during the warm up laps, he will wait until you get back to launch the runs. Once the runs are launched, there is no way the runs will stop in order to allow you to rejoin. The admin will try to kick you out if you can’t come back on the server, but it might take a few runs, especially if he is playing and did not notice you were out.
As said several times over the last few days, you needed to register using your TMUF login. If you failed to do so, the admin checking if you can drive is likely to kick you out of the tournament. Only valid and checked logins will be allowed to race.
This being said, i hope we won’t have many problems tonight and that everyone is going to have fun playing.
See you at 20PM on the servers

Hello guys
Here are the standings after tournament 1, which was characterized by an unusually high number of people who decided they were better off watching a football game, and did not warn the admins they would not be around to play. This was obviously a very good opportunity to score lots of points for the others.

Please remember that only a valid login will be accepted for a valid registrations. You can use any tag on name you like on tournament day, but admins will check systematically the logins of the drivers on the server, and if a driver is not registered under his TMUF login, he will be kicked out of the server. Use the registration errors topic on the forum to make the changes.

Hey guys,
The 21 map pack is available following the following links, under two different forms:
- first with a complete schedule for the 9 tournaments (with each map being 3 times in the pack) (7 maps x 9 tournaments: 63 maps in all)
- second only has the 21 maps featured in it, per environments.
63 maps version: GC8 Map Pack (Full round schedule-63maps).
21 maps version: GC8 Map Pack (Regular pack-21maps).
Considering we are planning to keep the 7 playoff map secret for the time being, the results of the admins votes will not be disclosed until the end of the regular tournaments.

Hey guys,
As usual, read the rules for more information, and do not register right away. Registrations will be open every week, so only register for the Tournament 1 if you are sure you will be available next Wednesday to play it.
There are two changes compared to the GC7:
- we will only accept the registrations using the TMU login
- the map order has been slightly changed, and Stadium will be played 4th instead of 1st.
Enjoy and see you later in the afternoon for the map pack release.
