| FET5 finals played in schedule - no delay! | 30 March 2010, 16:27 |
The result of yesterdays email poll is no delay for the final. As there are two teams, who aren't able to play at 18th, we could not find an agreement among all finalist. Therefore the schedule remains the same as announced in January:
Finals are played at 4th and 11th of April.

| FET5 Final - possible delay - POLL | 29 March 2010, 16:17 |
Hey finalists,
due to Easter and a big LAN in France at next weekend, we consider to delay the final by one week (so it could be played at 11th and 18th). To consider all teams, we've sent an email to all team captains (the email you entered during registrations). Please answer this email until Wednesday evening!
If you are against a delay, please give a valid reason, why you cannot play at 18th of April. Emails not answered until Wednesday, will be considered as "OK for the delay".
Until Wednesday, the official date remains 4th and 11th. Expect an announcement with the result of this poll at Wednesday evening (or earlier, if there are vetos or if we receive all answers earlier).

Always remember to read our Formula ET Forum to stay up to date with all information about this tournament.
For example, we have a Team Waiting List: You are interested to join this tournament, beginning with Round 2? We'll remove all inactive teams and replace them with teams on the waiting list, just sign your team up!
Also, you find map feedback threads, rule changes and result screenshots on this forum. It's worth to read!

Here's the schedule for this season of Formula ET:
7th of February: Pre-GroupStage Round 1 (3 maps)
14th of February: Pre-GroupStage Round 2 (2 maps)
21st of February: Pre-GroupStage Round 3 (2 maps)
28th of February: Main-GroupStage Round 1 (2 maps)
7th of March: Main-GroupStage Round 2 (2 maps)
14th of March: Main-GroupStage Round 3 (3 maps)
21st of March: Semifinals Round 1 (3 maps)
28th of March: Semifinals Round 2 (4 maps)
4th of April: Finals Round 1 (3 maps)
11th of April: Finals Round 2 (4 maps)
All races start at 20:15 CET. All maps are played for 24 laps.
As an improvement to FET4, the points you score in the pre-groups, are reduced by 50%. This way:
* We keep the seeding of teams for the main groups.
* We keep the elemination of inactive teams after the pre groups.
* Points scored in the pre groups are not pointless.
* The gap between teams with many and few points from the pre group stage is not as huge as in FET4 at the beginning of the main group stage.
With these slight modifications we hope to serve you the best competition mode for this Formula ET season, and remain to say
