| WAKE Team wins Formula ET 3 | 23 June 2008, 12:28 |
Last night, the final of FET3, ET's 2nd biggest tournament, took place on the servers. After 8 weeks of hard fighting during the group stage and the semifinals, the last 13 teams out of over 150 could qualify for yesterdays huge event, facing each other on the four final maps.
On Desert, Stadium, Island and Rally, the WAKE team, namely AAssie, Dengel, Didri and IKAR, could conquer the trophy with 83 Points, heavily hunted by the Qdkane team, consisting of Sandder and Arubiano, who gathered 71 Points.
The third place goes to another CMC squad, the NOT team (70 Points), who's players have been Per, Mudslinger, and Zooz, followed by the first YS-TP team (39 Points) with Feanor and Vexyde.
Lots of people used ET's relay servers to spectate the final, Hylis, the Nadeo boss among them, following the great show of the best 26 FET players fighting for the trophy. We'd like to congratulate WAKE for gaining the tropgy, and say GG to all other teams who's way ended in the group stage or the semis, GG to the finalists, and cu all next season!

Heyho friends,
today is the day, the FET3 final is coming along! This is a great opportunity to induct the new ManiaChannels feature.

This server is ONLY FOR PLAYERS, all others will be kicked/banned.
Spectators use one of the relay servers (120 spectators/server max):

| FET3 Finals Coming Along! | 15 June 2008, 23:02 |
Hello folks,
what an intense race we had this week, with lots of activity and close results! A total of 13 teams was qualified for the finals next week!
(Due to the equality of places 3 and 4 in group B, both teams qualified for the finals. Because of that, we have 13 teams in finals instead of 12.)
In the finals, four maps are going to be played. Between map 2 and 3 we'll settle a 15 minutes break. You can download the mappack here:

Hello folks,
unbelievable, that 7 weeks are already over again, but this season, this is not the end! The first 4 teams of each group qualified for the semifinals! In the semifinals, the best 3 of each group proceed to the finals next week.

Due to the equality of places 4 and 5 in group L, both teams qualified for the semifinals. Because of that, Semifinal A has 14 teams instead of 13 like the others.

| FET3 Groups and Procedure | 26 April 2008, 12:18 |
Hello folks,
due to the high amount of registrations, which makes it nearly impossible to form proper ranked divisions, we decided to try out a new FET mode in this season:
The groups have been created totally randomly. All groups completely play 7 weeks, which makes 14 maps.
After the 7, the first 4 of each group will qualify for the semi-finals (probably 4 groups). These are played on 3 maps.
First 3 teams in each semi-final group will qualify for the final, which is played on 3 maps of other environments.
We decided to leave Stadium out of the final stage here, based on the fact that we will soonly have a Stadium-only FET.
This makes the season last 9 weeks in total, if you qualify until the final. We hope this mode will bring you enough tension to the games, and of course, a lot of fun!

Hello folks,
here we go for the first mappack of the Formula ET - Season 3: This week we serve you with first two maps, which are going to be played on Sunday the 27th of April, and which are the season opening. As usual, the maps are played in the order mentioned in the news. Here we are:

FET3-AnyoneSeenABlueDuck (Bay, by AAssie)

The mappacks of each round are uploaded after the race, so you can download the round 2 mappack next Sunday, after the first round. The next weeks, the following environments will await you:

Round 5: Island + Desert
Round 6: Coast + Snow
Round 7: Stadium + Rally
The groups will be created one day before the first round. Details about the servers will be published with a news on Saturday, telling server location and passwords for each group.
