The second season for Formula ET racing has come to an end.
First of all I want to thank all the players who competed in this FET2 and stuck with it untill the end. You made this season into a succes!
Then I want to congratulate to the winners of this FET2: The CMC Machines team.
Also congratulations to the other Group winners:
Group B: FTMT
Group C: CMC ftwtf
Group D: 2Fast4U~1
Group E: DD~
Group F: [TOON]
At the start of the last round, none of the teams was sure to win yet, but there were some major differences in a few groups. In group F for example, the TOON team needed only 7 points to take the first position in their group, thanks to a lot of insane scores in previous rounds.
In group A and B, Machine and FTMT had a comfortable margin, but nothing was sure yet. In group C, D and E nothing was decided yet and the last round would be of major difference.
A Little overview of the last round:
Group A had had the tightest battles already, the Machine team was very strong in the last rounds, where their main threat, the WAKEs, was lacking practice. The CMCs also knew how to handle the WAKEs in the last round, and didnt give away their lead.
Group B was also still open, but strange things needed to happen for the FTMTs if they would give away their comfortable position. Thos weird things did not happen and so the FTMTs are proclaimed winners of Group B.
In group C the score was very tight. With the TEPettes, CMC and Dac2 really close to eachother and also the [SN] who were not out of range yet.
In the closest group, the CMCs took enough points to get the win in this division, with 2 points ahead of the TEPettes.
In Division D, the CMD team had a comfortable lead, which should have usually lead to P1 in this group. This team, however, had serious problems finding players for the last 2 rounds. With only 1 player there was nothing they could do vs the very powerful CAT2 and 2Fast4U teams.
After the round, the scores were still very close. With the 2Fast4U team on top, CAT2 behind, and CMD in 3rd position.
In Group E, the battle was heaviest for the top-position. The |erc|-team and the DD-team were very close to eachother. DD was leading with only 4 points, but handled the pressure well and did not give anything away. In the last round, the |erc|s were a little bit better, but not enough to take away the DD-victory.
The [TOON] team in Group F was leading the group from the start of this FET2 to the end. There were no big surprises in the last round either. The KZ tried and drive like madmen, but it wasnt enough, since TOON got enough points to secure the victory.
This brings this FET2 to an end.
I sure had fun, and i hope to see you guys again for the next edition of the Formula ET!

All players GG for their race in Round 4!
First of all a short reminding quote from the rules, because we had some trouble with it today:
"To avoid someone presses DEL in Lap Mode to start outside the main field, we count the position the player reaches the finish, and not the time the player finishes with. You are supposed to start the race with all players together!"
In case of investigation we will use the serverlog against the final screenshot.

Heya guys, we created a first idea of a division setup! You can find it in the "Standings" menu!
Please use this thread in ET forums, if something's heavily going wrong:

We tried to have not more than 2 teams of the same clan in the same division, as last season. Also we considered the appearance of teams in Season 1. I think these divisions could do it well.
In Group E we have 13 teams instead of 12 (due to accidentially 61 taken confirmations), but by experience teams in the last divisions will drop the competition soon, and then we can swap them again after Round 1.

As usual, the maps are played in the order as mentioned in this news. In Round 1 we have:

FET2-Sentinel (Island, by Dengel)

Hello!
In order to organize this tournament properly, we need you to
confirm the registration. This can be cone easily via replying to the email sent to all team captaions, or answering this news post. Teams who did not confirm until Sunday, 10.06.2007, 22:00h, can't participate in the full divisions of FET2 and will be put into the reserve. So please hurry up to confirm your team!

Hello, and welcome back to the Formula ET, Season 2!
This season will start at Sunday, 17.06.2007!
This means, the registrations open now, and the first mappack will be released at 10.06.2007!
Please when you register, make sure, that you enter a valid email adress, you'll need to verify your registration 1 week before the season begins.
We have some changes for you this season! Compared to Season 1, we will switch to 24 laps and 24 players each race, instead of 20/20. Also, you are allowed to register up to 4 drivers for your team, which can freely play the maps each week, without strict substitution rules.
Now let the show begin again, and happy registering!
